“Know this Offering of Light
as the way to the supreme state.
It is the support of the universe,
the treasure hidden in the Hearts of the Wise.”
~ Kattha Upanishad
Dear friends and family, we are very happy to invite you to the beautiful and profound “Offering of Light” practice to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
This is a very special way to start the new energetic cycle that starts with the Winter Solstice, planting the seed for abundance, wisdom and loving-kindness as individuals and as a community.
With the Winter Solstice, a seasonal door opens to evaluate one’s accomplished objectives and to explore the goals not yet achieved. Above all, it is a time to think about our objectives for a new cycle, renewing and re-energizing our motivation and vision.
As we read in the Yellow Emperor´s Classsic of Medicine: “Winter is the sowing season; it is the period when the sun moves away and the Earth prepares itself to do inner work. It marks the beginning of a new cycle of nature, the beginning of a new cycle of life. During this season, both humans and the Earth renew their energies and purify themselves.”
The winter cycle offers us the chance to observe beyond the external changes. Taking advantage of the hours of quiet and little light, we can study in depth our own inner states of consciousness.
For those of you who can’t attend in person, if you would like to do the practice during Winter solstice, do not hesitate to tell us. We will send you the text for the practice. It would be an honor to share that beautiful moment with you, during the same time as us or during the day. If you want to receive the text with the Offering of Light practice, please send us an e-mail.
This meeting is open to everybody, feel free to share the invitation.
